This is Ty's first scripture memory verse! One day I was talking to him about why he needs to obey mommy and daddy. Later that day, he could say the verse on his own! So here goes...

for your listening pleasure
This is Ty singing during naptime (and me videotaping through his closed door):
Translation:
Glory Hallelujah/Glory
God is so good/God is so good/He's so good to me
Glory Hallelujah
The best part was when I showed it to him just a few minutes ago, he said, "I don't know about that."

sweet daddies
Yesterday, I asked Corey to stop by Trader Joe's on the way home to pick something up for me. While there, he and Matt (our neighbor) asked for balloons for their kids (even though the kids weren't with them)--I love that! I think it's such a sweet daddy thing to do. :) Way to go, honey! Kelli, Matt's wife, happened to see the guys walking up with their balloons and grabbed her camera! She told me she was going to put the picture on her blog and title it, "A Few Good Men." I think that's very appropriate!
feeding Rascal
So, one night, my cute husband turned my oven mitt into "Rascal," a hungry little puppet who eats everything. I think it began by Ty feeding him Cheerios and Rascal rejecting them, which he thought was hysterical. The next night, Ty tried to feed Rascal a bib, but you can see that Rascal apparently doesn't like bibs. I love this short video because you can see Drew's sweet face in the background (he thought it was really funny too) and you can hear Ty squealing with delight, "Again!" Even though this was several weeks ago, Ty will still see the oven mitt on the table and say, "Rascal."
