funny vaca moments

Some of these photos need explanation and some do not. Let me just begin by saying that our vacation was fun and eventful. In the course of five days, Ty almost drown (this, obviously, was not funny), Drew broke a glass table with a plastic sippy cup, and Ty pulled the fire alarm at our condo--they were in the process of evacuating the building. Thankfully, a stranger was there to pull Ty out of the water, the glass was fixable (and no one got hurt), and the false fire alarm gave the condo security guards a little excitement in the day (they were also very nice and understanding about it.) In Ty's defense, the fire alarm was within his reach and quite curious for a three year old. The funniest part happened the next day when we were waiting for the elevator at the condo with a large group of people. One lady asked another woman what the emergency was all about, and that woman replied, "Some kid pulled the alarm." We all got on the elevator (I couldn't help the huge smile that was on my face and it was all I could do not to laugh) but none of us said a word. Here is that "some kid" who now knows that we only pull fire alarms if we see a fire (or a lot of smoke).

the little things

It's the little things that entertain kids and capture their attention. Here they are playing with Mimi and Grandpa's ceiling fan. They really could have done it for hours.
