ALL BOY

Ty is ALL BOY and although this quality might someday be the source of early gray hair on his parents, we secretly love it! He is a daredevil! He climbs up on everything he can, walks off the ottoman as though he is invincible, and runs at full speed most of the time. He is a bundle of energy and he definitely keeps us on our toes! Here he is riding the horsey and pretending he is Evel Knievel...

Everyone told me that Ty would look huge to me when we brought the new baby home. I was pleasantly surprised at first that he didn't. He still looked little to me...and he is, until I hold him after holding little Drew. I first noticed the difference when I changed Ty's diaper for the first time after coming home from the hospital. It seemed like such a large heinie to be changing!!! Now, Ty feels so heavy to me and looks so big (especially next to the little peanut!) :) Here is my little man sporting his new pj's...

The newest member of our family made his debut on January 4th at 11:58 AM. He surprised us by coming three weeks early! He weighed in at 5 pounds, 9 ounces and was perfectly healthy and beautiful! We are so thankful for this precious little one, and we love his full head of dark hair (which explains all of that heartburn)!!!!

We took Ty to ride the train today, and it was so fun (maybe more for us than for him!) He was a little skeptical at first, but he loved it by the end! He was just glad that daddy rode it with him!
