...roll over, Ty! :) And so the snuggling continues. I couldn't resist taking a few more pictures of these two little guys. I especially love Ty's creative positions as he tries to sleep in this small place!

These are our dear friends, Brett and Maggie, and their two beautiful girls--Ellie and Addie! We saw them while we were in Terre Haute, IN this past weekend. We were only able to spend a short time together, but it was a sweet time of fellowship. We miss them a ton!
We thought it would be a great idea to get our families together for a picture. The mini-meltdown began as soon as our boys had to stop playing in order to sit still for a posed picture (you would have thought we were trying to torture them). After many tries and lots of screaming and protesting, we (the adults) gave up (without one decent picture), but it was a pretty hilarious undertaking. Here's a peek at the chaos...

We are not sure why he does it, but lately Ty has been getting into Drew's crib with him. They share a room, but Ty is typically on the opposite side of the room in his own bed. Lately, we have been finding them together in the mornings just hanging out in the crib. (Ty has been hopping in with Drew the first thing in the morning.) However, the past two nights when I have checked on the boys, this is what I found:

I snapped a shot (in the dark) right before Corey put Ty back in his own bed. But Drew doesn't seem to mind the company, and we sure do think it's sweet. :)

Happy 5 years!

As my friend Sarah would say, Corey and I are "five years old!" I know that five is a comparatively small amount of years to be married, but I still think of it as a milestone (although not quite like 10 years when I think we'll have to go to some place like Hawaii to celebrate!) ;)

We wanted to go to dinner somewhere that was specific to St. Louis. We debated between several options, but I pushed for "Top of the Riverfront,"--the revolving restaurant atop the Millennium Hotel overlooking the city. I had a wonderful time with my husband, but I have to say, the revolving restaurant idea...highly overrated. The food was good but not fabulous and I forgot that downtown St. Louis (especially on an overcast evening) is not the most breathtaking sight. Despite the letdown of my expectations, I'm glad we dined there. I think I would have always wondered what it was like if we hadn't. And how many cities have revolving restaurants? At least I can say I've been to one. :)
