Ty said:
"When I'm a big boy, I'll have a watch and a razor!"
"Did you see the men doing destruction?" (he meant, "construction")
"I dead her." (after he stepped on a lady bug)
"Mommy, why are giraffes so tall?"
T: "What is your brother doing? (referring to Drew)
Mommy: "I'm not really sure."
T: "I'm not sure either."
T (from a different room): "Drewzers?"
D: "Yeah?"
Drew says:
"Wim!" (when he gets in the bathtub instead of "swim")
"I tuck!" (when he was "stuck" in a blanket and couldn't get out"
"Wuwu" (what he calls his little stuffed giraffe (whom I had affectionately named "Raffie")
"yock" (for "sock")
EAT!!! (when he's hungry) :)

climbing trees
I know I've already said this, but I love having boys, and I love watching them be boys! However, there are some elements of being a "boy mom" that I prefer over others. Just to name a few, these are things like watching them climb trees, wrestle their daddy, pretend sword fight, and play Peter Pan and Captain Hook (they use a hanger as their hook--it's awesome). Things that are a little bit tougher for a girlie girl like me are things like, well...anything involving bugs or insects or anything else that is slimy or yucky or creepy crawly. One of Ty's immediate questions when he sees these kinds of things is, "Can I touch it?" to which I instinctively always want to say, "Ew, no" but instead say, "Sure you can." We spent about a half an hour today watching a jumping stick bug walk through our yard. We didn't watch it continuously, but we did have to track it's progess frequently. This is actually a picture of Ty giving "tickets" (leaves) to Drew out of the tree in our front yard. Love these moments.
