We met the president! Well, not THE president, but the president of Covenant Seminary. Corey, Ty and I went to the “President’s Welcome” last night. It was really neat. They introduced all of the faculty, Bryan Chapell gave a talk, and a dessert reception followed. It was a semi-formal event, so we all got dressed up. Corey wore a jacket and tie! And Ty was adorable in his little outfit! Anyway, the evening began with a short intro from the Vice-President and then we all sang a hymn. I was holding Ty, whom we've decided doesn't do well in quiet settings. While everyone was singing, Ty was sucking on his hand--very loudly. So, when it got quiet in the room, Ty was still sucking on that little hand, and all you could hear was "Smack, smack, smack, smack, smack..." People turned to look! It was hysterical. I couldn't stop laughing!
