wheelbarrow fun

We had a cookout last night with our small group from church. One of the girls (yes, girls) grilled a brisket and the rest of us brought sides. We had it at our friend's, Chris and Cris's, house (whom we affectionately call, "He Chris" and "She Cris"), and He Chris brought out the wheelbarrow for the kids. Since Ty was skeptical about riding in it, He Chris came up with the brilliant idea of me riding with Ty. Well, I reluctantly agreed after a few of the girls cheered for me and told me to go for it. When I leaned back, the wheelbarrow was A LOT deeper than I expected so my legs flew up in the air. I'm sure it was a hilarious sight. When we came down the hill (at full speed) and turned the corner, everyone else burst into laughter at the sight of me in the wheelbarrow! I think I lost it when I heard Corey jokingly say, "Okay, that's awkward." :) It was so funny. We laughed and laughed (even today) about the whole thing. Hope you did too!

So, here we are...notice the people laughing in the background! :) (Oh, and just to clarify...that is not my middle finger)

Chris's idea worked...here is Ty (with Maia and Caleb) on something like his 100th wheelbarrow ride down the hill. Thanks, Chris, for running the kids up and down that hill. It was great fun and so entertaining!
happy kids
